Job Summary
Responsible for evaluating and acquiring programming content to achieve subscriber and revenue goals. Implements acquisition strategies, policies, and budget. Collaborates with leadership team to complete negotiations with major content providers and broadcast television stations. Coordinates review process to evaluate programming and delivery. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions supporting programming acquisition deals. Contributes to the development of the organization's video business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with that strategy.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
· Assists in establishing key metrics to continually evaluate performance of programming acquisitions.
· Negotiates with broadcast television stations and major content suppliers to license programming. Advises leadership on broadcast television strategy and changes to the video industry.
· Establishes and maintains relationships with leadership at broadcast television groups/networks and content providers.
· Coordinates with a team who researches, evaluates, and supports acquisition deals of programming and associated services. Targets potential acquisitions and prepares recommendations and strategies.
· Ensures adherence to FCC rules/regulations and programming obligations and standards. Assists with operations questions and policies related to programming acquisition and delivery.
· Meets with various content providers to hear pitches and manages full process of contract negotiations.
· Coordinates with Finance team on programming budgets and collaborates with Product and Accounting teams to discuss financial implications of acquisition activities.
· Conducts standard and complex programming negotiations.
· Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
· Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education
Bachelor's DegreeWhile possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.Certifications (if applicable)
