About the Role & Program

Join us for the opportunity to intern with our in-house creative studio, the Digital Center of Excellence Production (DCOEP) team, at Disney Entertainment! We support marketing across Disney’s biggest brands, from theatrical releases to streaming campaigns, with bold, digital-first content. As an intern, you won’t just observe: You’ll be an integral part of the work. You’ll collaborate with a thoughtful, tight-knit team of editors, producers, and designers who are curious, inventive, and always looking to improve. You'll help manage incoming production requests, stay on top of project updates, and jump in wherever support is needed – from timelines to creative feedback to hands-on production work. This role is great for someone who loves creative energy but also enjoys establishing order via creative problem solving. This is a full-time, in-person internship located in Glendale, California. The program runs from August 2025 through December 2025. You’ll report to the Director of Production & Technical Operations and work closely with team leads across the DCOEP.

What You Will Do

In this role, you’ll help keep creative projects organized, moving, and supported from start to finish. You’ll hold a key role in production request intake, updating our project trackers, contributing your creative ideas, and participating in team meetings to ensure deadlines and action items are aligned across teams. You’ll also support process-documentation and assist with organizing digital access across legacy and current systems.

Examples of what you might take on:

  • Intake and triage creative production requests

  • Ideate, pull reference, and assist creative leads with pre-production

  • Track projects from pre-production through delivery

  • Help coordinate feedback and approvals across teams

  • Support organizing and maintaining shared docs

  • Assist with physical production tasks behind-the-scenes, and occasionally on location

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience supporting digital content, creative operations, or production workflows.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently.

  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, who’s able to synthesize complex updates into actionable next steps.

  • Comfortable in meetings: Actively listens, takes initiative to follow up, and tracks progress with care and precision.

  • Previous experience working with collaborative project management tools like Airtable, Box, Frame.io, or similar platforms.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) is a plus, especially in a content review/support capacity.

  • Understanding of storytelling principles, brand tone, and platform-specific content formats is a bonus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a marketing, content production, or technical operations internships.

  • Familiarity with digital asset management, file versioning, or documentation systems.

  • A working knowledge of Disney brands and major IP.

  • Familiarity with physical production basics, studio environments, and Sony camera systems is a plus!

Education  

  • Senior year preferred.

  • Major or previous coursework in Communications, Media, Film, Marketing, or a related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
