The Product Analyst supports data-driven product decisions by analyzing market trends, user behavior, and performance metrics to uncover insights and optimize value. What You’ll Be Doing:

Market Research

  • Conduct research on regulatory requirements, industry standards, and market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM) in the healthcare and pharmacy marketplace.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor benchmarks to support product development and improvement.
  • Use data to validate conceptual ideas and support business case development.

Product Lifecycle & Business Analysis

  • Evaluate product performance across its lifecycle using data on user behavior, cost/value, market comparisons, and support trends.
  • Conduct analysis to support decisions related to product enhancement, optimization, or retirement.
  • Mine and prepare data outputs to inform lifecycle decisions.
  • Contribute original ideas to enhance product settings or internal processes.
  • Identify potential efficiency improvements using data analysis.

Data Analysis & Insight Generation

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Form and test hypotheses to derive insights that inform product strategy or operational decisions.
  • Develop clear data visualizations and reports to communicate findings.

Technical Collaboration & Requirements Definition

  • Perform audits and validations of data ingestion and transformation processes.
  • Review changes to data sources and structures to ensure continued data quality.
  • Monitor industry changes, assess potential impacts, and help implement necessary data or system adjustments.
  • Work with IT, Development, and BI teams to define business and technical requirements for new or improved products.
  • Assist in the creation of use cases and prototypes to support solution development.
  • Support test case creation and validation to ensure data accuracy and system integrity.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Associate degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience required, Bachelor’s preferred.
  • 3+ years of analytical experience in strategic analysis and business reporting.
  • Background in pharmacy operations is strongly preferred (e.g., pharmacy technician or operator) with hands-on experience in billing claims, insurance processes, inventory control, financial reporting, and analyzing prescription volume and revenue.
  • Familiarity with drug names, therapy classes, industry regulations, wholesalers, payers, and pharmacy associations.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, merging, slicing, and data visualization through charts and graphs.
  • Ability to identify data patterns, anomalies, and trends; confident using statistical concepts like variance, confidence levels, and directional accuracy.
  • Proficient in SQL and business intelligence tools such as Power BI is preferred.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, data modeling, and data management.
  • Familiarity with AI data concepts like RAG and Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio (or similar flowcharting tools).
  • Analytical thinker with a hypothesis-driven approach and adaptability as data evolves.
