WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, API Platform to drive the evolution of our API ecosystem for our marketing technology platform. In this role, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for APIs that enable customers to configure, integrate, and optimize our platform through developer-focused products and offerings. You will own and manage the developer experience with Tealium's APIs. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our APIs are intuitive, scalable, and deliver measurable value to developers and stakeholders at customer organizations.
 

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, customer success, and product marketing) to understand the industry, competitor trends, and market dynamics

• Build deep customer understanding to represent the customer’s voice and solve for their needs throughout the product development processes

• Translate product strategy into detailed business and user requirements 

• Actively prioritize product backlog and coordinate planning with other Product Managers to define and enhance our data platform across the application

• Partner with Architects on implementing best practice API principles within the application

• Leverage data to inform your strategic and tactical product decisions and measure outcomes

• Partner with engineering leaders and scrum teams to build world-class, innovative technology and continuously ship value in an agile CI/CD environment

• Provide ruthless prioritization and focus for engineering teams to deliver customer value

• Work with internal partners to drive product adoption by contributing to go-to-market strategies, enablement activities, webinars, product demos, documentation, and more

WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM

• At least 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager building SaaS products, with proven success driving customer adoption and retention

• Passion for products and technology – loves to innovate to solve complex problems

• Ability to excite, energize and motivate others; thrives in teams; highly inclusive and collaborative; proven ability to lead through influence vs. authority

• Well-versed in Agile Scrum best practices and experienced being a product owner for a scrum team. 

• Experience with building and managing an API developer network and community

• Natural ease at conducting user interviews, speaking the voice of the customer, and evangelizing product adoption internally and externally

• Highly accountable individual and show genuine care about the people, processes, and technology involved in making a successful product come to life

• Strong written and presentation skills; great storyteller
