Job Summary

Do you desire to lead high-performing teams and have a penchant for detail?  If so, come join us in Finance at Dominion Energy Ohio (DEO)! This role leads the creation of revenue and capital budgeting for DEO and will work closely with their peer supervisor to provide visibility from revenue down to operating income. While doing so, this position will work closely with supporting departments at DEO to develop strategies to grow revenue, contain and minimize costs, and build relationships.

 

The role leads a team in the development, implementation and monitoring of financial strategies and plans for DEO. Provides financial guidance, input and training to management and key employees to assist in achieving short- and long-term business strategies. Oversees development and maintenance of financial plans for DEO, including business support activities, revenues, expenditures and capital budgets.

 

Oversees financial analysis for daily operational decisions. Oversees development and tracking of revenue and capital costs. Supports numerous regulatory requirements. Ensures compliance with regulations, policies & procedures. Provides analysis to management including cost and project analysis and analysis of financial impacts of business strategies.

 

Provides high level oversight of and resources for developing and administering strategies, programs, policies and procedures in assigned areas. May serve as financial representative on committees.  Perform other duties as requested or assigned.  Some travel will be required.

 

This position can report out of EITHER East 55th or Akron-Springside.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Minimum Requirements (Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications):

• 7+ years of financial management and analysis; accounting standards and practices; utility and industry experience.
• Experience with variance analysis and forecasting. 
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability in position responsibility activities.
• Proven ability to lead and develop team members.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Process improvement experience.
• Teaming, customer focus and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of Business Warehouse (BW) and Anaplan.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Master

Preferred Disciplines:  Accounting, Business, Finance

Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above
