Position Specific Description

The Lead LFG-Production Technician should possess extensive knowledge and experience with all aspects of LFG Equipment, Operations, and Management of Facilities and lead other LFG-Production Technicians. Employee in this role manage employees in the oversight, maintenance, repair, and replacement of LFG Equipment. The Lead LFG-Production Technician ensures safety of employees and compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and Company rules and regulations. The Lead LFG-Production Technician may have multiple sites reporting to him/her

 

The Lead RNG Production Technician position will be geographically based in the eastern region of the country. The individual selected for this role will be accountable for the management and oversight of Landfill LFG sites within their assigned territory. This role demands travel for approximately 75% of the time to ensure seamless operations and safety compliance.

 

  • Participate in planning and oversite of routine and major maintenance activities on industrial engines as assigned.
  • Lead LFG-Production Technician may, from time to time be temporarily assigned to work at other facilities to assist in routine and major maintenance work. This work may require travel and overnight stays
  • Conduct all work in a safe and efficient manner, observing all safety regulations and safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in and/or conduct on-site monitoring and recordkeeping activities in accordance with relevant permits and environmental plans and regulations.
  • Operate, adjust, and maintain industrial engines to maintain a status of compliance with relevant permits. This includes, but is not limited to, fuel consumption rates, temperature thresholds, pressure thresholds, energy output, emissions output, record keeping, etc.
  • Work with other LFG-Production Technicians  to help manage onsite inventory to ensure that adequate materials, supplies, spare parts, tooling, etc. are either onsite or are promptly available.
  • Participate in site on-call schedule as instructed by Leadership

Job Overview

The LFG Production Technician Leader must have solid written and verbal communication, technical, and analytical skills and possess extensive knowledge and experience with all aspects of LFG Equipment, Operations, and Management of Facilities and lead other LFG Production Technicians. Employee in this role manage employees in the oversight, maintenance, repair, and replacement of LFG Equipment and ensures safety of employees and compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and Company rules and regulations. The LFG Production Technician Leader may have multiple sites reporting to him/her.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages Technical Performance of the plants
  • Drives the continuous improvement of performance
  • Oversees personnel development and succession planning Interact and planning with vendors and/or sub-contractors needed 
  • Assists with operating, monitoring, and maintenance of the LFG Equipment and sites
  • Complies with all regulations and policies
  • Leads the safety of the facility and personnel
  • Assists in planning and managing of Operations and Maintenance budgets
  • Provides leadership in all aspects of operation and maintenance
  • Ensures sites are compliant with training
  • Communicates effectively throughout all levels of the organization
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 7+ years
  • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates or Equivalent Experience
