Rockstar Online Services is on the lookout for a talented Associate Production Coordinator who is eager to jump in, forge a path through any blocker, and steer our projects to success. This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.
WHAT WE DO
- The Rockstar Online Services team is responsible for designing, building, and managing the platforms that support all of our games, including GTA and RDR2.
- We work closely with many teams within Rockstar to make sure we deliver exactly what our games need, exactly at the right time
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Associate Production Coordinator will support the Online Services team in these three main areas:
- Production
- Manage the team schedule and workflow in a modified Scrum framework.
- Organize team backlogs and create/assign/track tickets.
- Conduct sprint planning and loading to assign work from prioritized team backlogs.
- Create and maintain project schedules and milestone documentation, monitoring the progress of goals and specific tasks against the planned timelines.
- Project Coordination
- Gain an adequate overall understanding of all processes/systems that compose the Online Services environment to be able to spot requirements and dependencies for any major project/change.
- Identify all groups and teams affected by a project and involve them.
- Solicit their input on requirements.
- Follow up through execution to confirm requirements are being met.
- Drive consensus on technical decisions to satisfy requirements.
- Break down large or complex projects into meaningful subprojects.
- Hold regular meetings with project teams, individuals, and business partners to discuss status, resolve issues, and share information.
- Assist the Team Leads in creating an environment that promotes both personal ownership and accountability for project success.
- Logistics:
- Manage/facilitate many practical tasks required for both Online Services projects and Datacenter management.
- Track order fulfilment and gear shipments, keep inventories, assist with hardware/software quoting and procurement process.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Work with our Infrastructure team to coordinate Datacenter installations and maintenances.
- Assist with tracking and reporting of Network/Datacenter expenses.
- Provide input and research for yearly budgeting process.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of experience in any combination of the following:
- Project Management
- IT Support/ Technical Customer Service
- Production in a software development environment
- Experience working with distributed teams and facilitating effective virtual and in-person meetings.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel), Hansoft, Jira, Confluence, Monday and other project tracking and bug database software.

- Excellent organizational & prioritization skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to be applied across product, development, and management teams.
- Ability to quickly absorb, understand, organize, and communicate the “big picture”, in both written and oral form, when flooded with unfamiliar technical information.
- Proven ability to work with different personalities, mediate conflict, adjust management approach to specific teams/individuals - willingness to “check your ego at the door”.
- Strong work ethic
