The Regional Digital Lead reports to the VP of Digital and is responsible for the success of the advanced analytics (AA) waves for each region, overseeing use case and requirement development, resources allocation, and product adoption. This role serves as the one of the core conduits between the Analytics team and the plant ensuring that the AA solution optimizes plant operations by improving the plant operating team’s ability to predict, prevent, or respond to events and/or operating conditions.

- Achieves use case impact from leading program and change management process
- Integrates analytics into the broader strategy of the plant Ensures the successful launch of new CLR and scrap purchase agreements and continuously seeks out process improvements throughout the value stream
- Leads communication of analytics outputs with executives; acts as bridge between management & analytics specialists; Shares insights with business stakeholders and collects inputs to verify and iterate analytics results
- Articulates analytics proposition to business stakeholders, & conducts diagnostics to identify use case opportunities
- Monitor progress made by various stakeholders on implementation and make necessary interventions to adhere to timelines
- Orchestrates and coordinators a multi-functional team including: data engineers, data scientists, designers, business process designers as well as inputs of multiple end-user stakeholdersPerform scrap BOM recycling analysis to support Fair Share calculations
- Facilitates the hiring and development of key resources
- Looks for ways to strengthen team’s understanding of Agile, e.g., Scrum concepts and principles
- Empowers leadership teams in building, growing and sustaining a thriving Agile team
- Works with the regional business functions and FP&A to estimate the problems and drive accomplishing the value target goals. Must be responsible for achieving the value goals.
Qualifications
Required:
- BS in Business, Management, Engineering or Operations
- 4+ years operations experience ideally in two or more functions
- Minimum of 2 years of experience gathering requirements and translating into user requirements, data engineering, data science, or software engineering experience
- Agile project management experience, especially in managing multi-functional teams within the organization
- Team oriented, goals oriented, and flexible with proven track record in leading multiple stakeholders and driving results, specially via influence management
- Exceptional verbal and oral communication skills
- Strong work ethic; ability to work at an abstract level and gain consensus
- Strong leadership acumen to drive decision-making and change management
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or other advanced degree
- Leads/manages a BU or a functional team in the organization
- Experience in process industries (chemicals, energy, petroleum refining, mining)
- Experience acting as a Scrum Master or Agile coach in a fast-moving environment
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
