EMR Field Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
The EMR Field Specialist is responsible for assisting with EMR implementation, training and production support for client orders and result electronic interfaces. Broad interaction between Natera EDI personnel, Natera sales, client and vendor resources.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in onboarding of new EMR interfaced clients
• Provide field support for existing electronic interfaces
• Key tasks include:
- Work with Commercial Team on new EMR requests
- Coordinate interface projects with internal EDI Team
- Provide training and on-site customer support for new EMR implementations
- Troubleshoot existing interfaces and provide feedback to clients, vendors, Sales and Operations
- Analyze EMR utilization data and work with clients to increase electronic orders rates
- Work closely with EDI Team on key EMR initiatives and product updates
- Perform other duties as assigned
• This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and have access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job.
• Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.
• Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as, IT, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant related experience, preferably in laboratory space
- Must have knowledge of different EMR systems, lab workflow and client workflow.
- Proficiency in Excel
- Sales Force experience preferred

- Very strong analytical skills and ability to understand the details of the project/requirements
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The duties are performed in a field / remote setting and also require the use of a computer
- Duties might sometimes require working outside of normal working hours
- Requires travel up to 25%
