As a Commercial Lines Service Specialist, you will provide professional, courteous service to our clients and internal team. Provides support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing commercial accounts.  

 

Your job responsibilities as a Commercial Lines Service Specialist: 

  • Respond promptly and professionally to the service needs of our clients 

  • Work closely with the team in providing exceptional service 

  • Assist team in following HUB process/procedures related to binders, certificates, endorsements, policy check and other related items while verifying accuracy 

  • Knowledge of carrier online systems for obtaining quotes, loss runs, billing information, policy documents, etc. 

  • Assist with premium bearing transactions, audits and premium reconciliation 

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client information in agency management system 

  • Adhere to all HUB Broker Standards, processes, procedures and state regulations 

  • Work closely with management on special projects and act as a back-up to team members as needed 

  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred 

  • Previous experience working with property and casualty account administration preferred 

  • Experience with Epic or other insurance related software preferred 

  • Ability to acquire and maintain approved accredited program designation preferred 

  • An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of minimum qualifications 

  • State property and casualty insurance license, or ability to obtain, required 

  • Knowledge of insurance agency operations 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Team player with a great attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
