About the role

FCP Euro is seeking an experienced Sr. Technical Business Analyst to join our Software Engineering Team. This is a new role, and we are looking for a trailblazer who knows what excellence looks like and is interested in building out the BA function here at FCP Euro. In this position, you will be building the process and setting standards by which we operate. You will be THE analyst who gets to set the tone for the others who may follow behind you in the future.  This will require you to be process-oriented, innovative, and possess a critical-thinking mindset. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Translate business wants and needs from loose conceptual requirements to well-thought-out functional requirements.
  • Conduct project management in an Agile scrum workflow demonstrating efficiency in grooming, estimation, planning, and execution. 
  • Creation of user stories and facilitate the grooming process of user stories through, “Dev Ready” status. 
  • Facilitate meetings to gather input and provide stakeholders with project progress, risks, or issues.
  • Analyze metric data to make decisions on priority and provide baseline metrics to demonstrate feature success.  
  • Support Software releases and DevOps through the release verification process.  
  • Conduct functional/shakeout/ UAT QA Testing in and outside of the sprint.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or the equivalent in work experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Agile Scrum and the SDLC.  
  • Able to translate business wants and needs into functional requirements.  
  • Excellent communication skills include 3-5 years of experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.   
  • Experience working with Engineers and conducting QA validation.  
  • Possess a critical thinking mindset. 
  • Familiarity with software development tools and monitoring software such as JIRA, Confluence, Cloudflare, Datadog, Rollbar, Google Analytics and Tag Manager 
  • 30% travel required.
