About the role
The Wearables Hardware Engineering Program Specialist (HW EPS) team supports all the Wearables Hardware Products across Meta from NTI to shipping products. As an Engineering Program Specialist, your top priority will be partnering with Technical Program Managers to deliver hardware to Cross-Functional team(s) on time to support product development.
This role requires good communication skills and attention to details as you will be working with large cross-functional teams both internally and externally. Managing and keeping track of information are extremely critical to the success of this role.Engineering Program Specialist Responsibilities
$116,000/year to $166,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

- Manage procurement and keep track of Purchase Orders
- Support budget management and forecasting
- Work closely with engineering and PLM teams to ensure error-free BOMs (bill of materials)
- Support initial build matrix setup
- Drive material clear-to-build for hardware builds and support shipping logistics
- Collect allocation requests and distribution logistics
- Manage multiple programs concurrently
- Up to 10% travel as needed
- 3+ years experience as an Engineering Program Specialist in consumer electronics
- Experience in hardware development, working with part vendors domestically and internationally
- Experience managing complex spreadsheets, accounting tools, coordinating across different teams, vendors and time zones
- 5+ years experience as an Engineering Program Specialist in consumer electronics
- Experience working with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and FATP (Final Assembly, Test and Pack) contract manufacturers
