This position is located in Wayne County in Wooster, Ohio.

Work closely with the Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS ) Educator in Wayne County to meet the identified needs of the clientele within the community.  Program will include scheduling, teaching and evaluation in the areas of food, nutrition and safety, food resource management, financial literacy and family asset building to adults, youth and or families in a variety of community settings. 

Seeking an individual with a passion for assisting youth and families by providing educational resources either through teaching classes or one-on-one consultation.  Individual should have exceptional communication skills (both written and oral) and strive to provide quality customer service.

Responsibilities will also include working with the 4-H Youth Development program in settings closely related to FCS such as Real Money Real World education, Food and Fashion Board, project judging, state fair selection, and events at the Wayne County fair.

We are looking for a team player who will compliment the 4H team and the FCS Educator and the Wayne County office as a whole.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this profile is $16.49 - $21.69/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
