We champion an inclusive culture and strive to attract and develop a talented workforce to create and deliver a wide range of content reflecting our world.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong><u>Role Purpose</u></strong></p><p>At NBCUniversal, the Corporate Events Department produces high-impact experiences for clients and C-suite executives across some of the most recognized brands in media and entertainment — from marquee tentpole events and corporate initiatives to brand activations and large-scale client programs.</p><p>The Corporate Events Manager is an experienced event lead who independently drives small to mid-sized programs from ideation through execution while also contributing to larger-scale events as part of a broader team. This individual brings 5–7 years of experience in events, hospitality, entertainment, or related industries, along with a proven ability to lead programs, navigate complex logistics, and collaborate effectively across stakeholders.</p><p>The Manager serves as a key partner to internal teams, clients, vendors, and executives, balancing strategic thinking with flawless execution. This position may provide guidance and oversight to Coordinators, Associates, Pages, or project-based team members depending on event staffing and department structure.</p><p>Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The position reports to a Vice President within the Corporate Events Department.</p><p>At NBCUniversal, you’ll have opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact alongside some of the industry’s most talented professionals.</p><p><strong><u>Job Duties</u></strong></p><p><em>Event Leadership & Execution</em></p><ul><li>Lead small to mid-sized programs from initial planning through on-site execution and post-event reconciliation</li><li>Contribute to larger-scale and high-profile events in partnership with senior team members, owning specific workstreams, logistics, vendors, or operational components within the broader program</li><li>Oversee all aspects of assigned events, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, run-of-show development, premium sourcing, guest experience, and on-site logistics</li><li>Partner closely with internal stakeholders and clients throughout the planning and execution process, facilitating meetings and ensuring clear communication and follow-through</li><li>Interface directly with clients and C-suite executives with professionalism and discretion</li><li>Develop and track event budgets, process invoices, and support post-event reconciliation</li><li>Negotiate contracts, track deliverables, and maintain detailed production timelines</li><li>Coordinate event registration, attendee communications, and guest management to ensure a seamless experience</li><li>Produce or oversee the creation of digital and printed event materials in collaboration with vendors and internal/external partners</li><li>Travel domestically and internationally to execute and support events</li><li>Provide on-site support across the department’s broader event portfolio as needed</li></ul><p> </p><p><em>Team Collaboration & Department Support</em></p><ul><li>Provide guidance and day-to-day direction to Associates, Coordinators, Pages, and project-based team members assigned to events</li><li>Foster a collaborative and supportive working environment while helping junior team members strengthen their event management skills</li><li>Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams on complex programs and department initiatives</li>
