  Summary: The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor supports the day-to-day operations of the maintenance shop by overseeing the work of the Technicians to ensure timely, high-quality repairs and preventative maintenance of company vehicles and equipment. This role ensures safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and DOT/FMCSA regulations. The Maintenance Supervisor works closely with the Maintenance Manager and Operations team to maintain fleet readiness and support business needs.   Tasks/Responsibilities: - Supervise and assign daily tasks to Technicians to ensure maintenance priorities are met.
- Monitor work orders for accuracy, timeliness, and quality of completed repairs.
- Support preventative and corrective maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve fleet performance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant shop environment; promote a culture of safety and accountability.
- Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Manager, Drivers, and Operations to coordinate repairs and minimize service disruptions.
- Assist with parts ordering, inventory control, and vendor coordination as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
- Provide hands-on mechanical support when needed to meet operational deadlines.
- Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance work, parts usage, and inspections.
- Participate in maintenance meetings and provide feedback on shop needs and process improvements.
- Train, mentor, and coach mechanics to build team skills and performance.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
  Skills and Assets: - 3+ years of experience in fleet or equipment maintenance, preferably in the transportation industry.
- 1+ year of leadership or team lead experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools.
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, and OSHA safety requirements.
- Knowledge of TMW or other transportation software
  Education:  - High school diploma or equivalent required.
