Summary:
Cosm is looking for a self-motivated, energetic individual to fill the role of Manager, Field Operations. This position is a direct report to the Director, Client Operations and shares responsibility for all C360 camera(s), servers, and equipment throughout C360 inventory whether inside venues, in transit, or warehoused. Manager, Field Operations is also responsible for on-site crew operations and for show ready output of C360 system(s) for each event. Finally, the Manager, Field Operations will give oversight to the daily management of C360 Operators, Field Techs, and RF Techs from scheduling, on-site crew performance, and production integration.
Responsibilities:
• Extensive knowledge of C360 camera system, controller and software to ensure it is working properly at all times. Troubleshooting may be required.
• Ability to setup systems and troubleshoot on-site or remotely.
• Be available for set-up and game days in support of remote crews to answer requests quickly and accurately.
• Provide post-game account of crew and systems performance
Experience:
• Associates, BA, BS degree or higher.
• Management of people and processes
• 5+ years of successful experience in sports media.
• Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and G Suite.
• Willingness to Travel.
• Knowledge of live sports remote production, workflows, and broadcasting operations.
• Capable of technical setup and troubleshoot cameras, controller, PCs and C360/Cosm software applications.
• Ability to quickly and accurately evaluate production issues and troubleshoot as needed.
• Knowledge of video editing techniques, content delivery and MS Windows.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, nights, weekends and Holidays.
• Preferred: growth mindset, interested in learning and advancing new technology.
