Senior Product Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy and definition for both external products (genomic tests and digital platforms) and internal tools (typically software/database)
- Create and maintain pragmatic product roadmaps that phase development
- Write clear product vision statements that articulate market opportunities, requirements, competitive positioning, and prerequisites
- Partner with Patient/Customer Experience, Clinical Affairs, and Sales to identify and prioritize high-value features for patient and provider portals
- Develop detailed product requirements documents spanning laboratory, technical, and marketing needs
- Serve as the primary owner of product roadmaps, working closely with project management on timeline communication
- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and prioritize opportunities against company mission and resources
- Transform stakeholder input into actionable product specifications and requirements
- Design and lead a scalable product development process that can systematically evaluate and track initiatives ranging from small feature requests to major strategic products
Ideal Skills and Experience
No specific degree or field prerequisite. If you can do the work well and humbly, we want to talk with you
5+ years product management experience, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences
Experience with healthcare provider and patient-facing products
Track record of successfully defining and launching complex products
Track record of creating organizational clarity in fast-paced environments
Demonstrated ability to balance process development with hands-on product management
Experience writing clear product requirements documents and feature specifications
Strong analytical skills for evaluating market opportunities and product priorities
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication abilities
Understanding of software development processes and technical requirements
Location: Hybrid; San Francisco (near Montgomery BART) 3 days/week
Compensation and Benefits
- 160K-190K/year depending on experience
