The Operations Associate will assist Production Technicians with maintaining compliance with GMP standards.
This position will have primary responsibility for maintaining GMP conditions in the Production Area. The Associate works within a structure that requires considerable interaction with others in the same production unit as well as other production units and support functions.
Responsibilities include:

Understanding and being accountable for full compliance with safety and other EOHS requirements including all Quality, GMP, and cleaning standards and guidelines.

Inspecting and cleaning all areas of the Making and Finishing areas

Maintaining clean surfaces on all tanks and piping

Completing daily cleaning check sheet

Performs daily housekeeping activities and conducting/participating in area housekeeping assessments as required to meet all GMPs and FDA requirements

Removes and disposes of making area waste according to Standard Operating Procedures;

Other job functions that may be assigned
Required Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Ability to lift 55 pounds repeatedly for extended periods of time;
-
Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend to 90 degrees repeatedly;

Must be able to work any shift, weekends and mandatory overtime as needed;

Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment;

Demonstrated competency of Attention to Detail, Work Standards, Initiative and Managing Work.
Preferred Experience:
-
GMP and/or consumer goods/ pharmaceutical manufacturing experience a plus;
-
Previous manufacturing work team experience preferred;
-
Demonstrated competency in problem-solving/decision making, effective communication, results-oriented, and job fit.
