Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Scrum Master. This position will perform the following duties but not limited:
- Leads the development effort by conveying the vision to an Agile or Scrum delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value.
- Liaises with stakeholders ensuring their interests are included in the release, and the team to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget.
- Responsible for the business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline.
- Serves as the Agile or Scrum delivery team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making.
- Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
- Serve as liaisons between the product owner, development team, and management to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
- Ensure that team members understand project objectives.
- Maintains product backlog and release plan and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals.
- Preserves flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes. Is the facilitator for an agile development team. The scrum master manages the process for how information is exchanged.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD, 9 years in lieu of degree
- Must be a US citizen
- Able to obtain Public Trust
- Experience with agile environment
- Experience with Scrum Master process
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification preferred

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.EEO
