National Star Services, a facility management company with over 27 years of experience, offers a diverse range of nationwide services. We are currently seeking for General Labor/Tarpers for our location in Fort Dodge, IA 50501.

This role begins on a temporary basis with the opportunity for permanent employment based on performance.

Job Description: The tarper will be working at a transportation facility helping the drivers by unrolling tarps on top of their truck or cargos until everything is cover. As well as securing the tarps with straps and bungee cords that way they don't fly away with the wind while on the road. Duties also include maintaining a clean work area—removing debris, empty skids, etc.—and assisting the drivers who are stuck or need assistance hooking up trailers.

*Please note that this position requires heavy lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions.*

Schedule:
Monday - Friday
From 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM or Until Finish

Pay rate: $18.00 hr.
Biweekly Pay

Requirements:

• Own transportation
• Two valid forms of ID.
• Be comfortable with heavy lifting
• Able to work in any type of environment
• Dress proper to work outside
• BG-Check and Drug Test
• Must be able to start ASAP
• Steel-toe boots.
