Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Effects Deployment Office (FXDO) Operations Lead to join our team at Lexington Park, MD.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Organize and facilitate weekly program meetings to include developing meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes and action item requests.

  • Create, review and coordinate program briefings through slide generations, edits, and presentation.

  • Assist program director in preparation of briefing materials, action tracking, and compose responses to PMA and PEO action items and data calls.

  • Track and coordinate action items through resolution and response reporting for team.

  • Maintain Share Point site for Effects Deployment Office (FXDO) team.

  • Route and approve all correspondence and public release documentation reviewed by FXDO leadership.

  • Maintain office access control and alarm systems to include granting and removing badge access to individuals.

  • Assist personnel with sanitization of conference rooms and attendee clearance.

  • Assist with any visit requests needed for locations requiring security clearances utilizing JPAS, DISS, and or BASICS II as necessary.

  • Initiate and execute complex administrative and analytical tasks.

  • Devise solutions and draws conclusions to problems relating to improvement of management effectiveness, organization structure, work methods, process controls, procedure efficiency, and resource management.

  • Establish, review, and updates extensive, often complex, office procedures, as well as train others on administrative procedures.

  • Draft, format, and proofread outgoing Navy correspondence to include assigning serial numbers, logging and routing through necessary parties and uploading correspondence to the PMA share drive.

  • Prepare Flag Level Letters of Appreciation (LOAs), Letters of Commendation (LOCs), Memorandums.

  • Utilize Defense Travel System (DTS) to create travel authorizations and vouchers.

  • Write and maintain operations and administrative standard operating procedures manual to assist teamwork flow and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience OR Associates Degree with 5 years of related experience.

  • Must hold an active US Government Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented; creative and independent thinker focused on quality.

  • Ability to work independently on projects.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and high-stress environment.

  • High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

  • Excellent planning, time management and organization skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation expertise.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80%.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Must be the consummate professional who excels in a small and fast paced office environment and enjoys working in a close-knit team devoted to the mission.

  • Must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.

  • Must be able to follow directions.

  • Must be able to work well alone and as part of a team.
