Job Overview

The Technical Support Representative provides technical information for our internal and external customers, taking a variety of questions primarily from Dealers, Distributors and internal staff but can also include Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Homeowners. Creates CADs and provides structural and special calculations along with special request support for the Marvin product lines. This role also works with many other departments such as Inside Sales, Architectural, Signature Products, R&D, Engineering and/or Purchasing.

Highlights of your role

• Create CAD drawings based on our customer’s needs
• Cross-functional teamwork with product options and production abilities.
• Assist with the support and development of our channel partners and trade professionals.
• Support departmental goal initiatives to achieve critical measurements.

Compensation

$25.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• AutoCAD experience a must, prefer window and door experience, but open
• Excellent communication, documentation, creative problem solving and innovative thinking abilities
• Ability to self-direct; motivated; ability to self-manage priorities and deadlines; organized; strong attention to detail
• Approachable, collaborative, and professional demeanor

Also want to make sure you have

• Related college degree or 2-4 years industry related experience
• Understanding of drafting concepts and knowledge of the construction industry
• Strong PC skills using AutoCAD, MS Office applications and Salesforce
• Ability to quickly learn technical information surrounding Marvin products, systems, and processes
