Leading a team of subject matter experts, you must be able to zoom out, assess the bigger picture, and support your team in doing the same,” elaborates Helena Nicklasson, Vice President of Product Development and Drug Delivery.</p><p></p><p><b>Your day at Ferring </b><br/>Your most important responsibility will be to lead a team of 10 highly skilled scientists responsible for planning, coordinating, leading, and evaluating analytical method development, validation, and characterization work performed in our internal laboratories and at different CROs.</p><p></p><p>Working with non-GMP- and GMP-related tasks, their work covers everything from proteins and peptides to small molecules and other modalities within the CMC area. The team's responsibilities range from candidate drug selection to Phase 3 and transfer to commercial manufacturing, and include all relevant dosage forms.</p><p></p><p>As an experienced people manager, your primary objective will be to create a positive environment conducive to your team delivering robust analytical methods and characterization packages to drug substance and drug development projects. This includes: </p><ul><li><p>leading, motivating, and developing your team through daily coaching, problem solving, individual objectives, and performance reviews</p></li><li><p>building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across Ferring</p></li><li><p>supporting your team in building a thorough understanding of Ferring’s value chain and their contributions to the global organization</p></li><li><p>building an external network of relevant experts across the scientific community<br/> </p></li></ul><p>Our spectacular and state-of-the-art International PharmaScience Center (IPC) in Copenhagen will be your primary workplace. In addition, you can expect to travel about 10-15 days a year to meet colleagues and partners, including CROs.<br/> </p><p><b>Behind our innovation - there’s you </b><br/>You have strong leadership skills and experience coaching highly skilled scientists to deliver in a global matrix organization.
