What impact you’ll make

As a member of the supplier quality operations, you will be an active contributor to the overall product quality and organizational processes by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to quality metrics, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve. You will own scrap KPI. As well as maintained supplier quality website, dashboards and tableaus

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Lead scrap reporting to support Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) reduction. Support Scrap yearly plan and target definition. Support vendor recovery processes. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address data-related quality challenges.
  • Lead Data collection and reporting, support bowler preparation; Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data collected.
  • Analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies related to product quality. Support Diagnose gaps in process/product quality knowledge/KPIs and capabilities
  • Support development of and lead maintenance of reports, supplier quality website, scorecards, tableaus and dashboards to communicate key quality metrics and performance indicators to stakeholders.
  • Support Coordination of supplier quality team activities including MOR, issue resolution, problem solving, daily management, etc.
  • Constantly seek, share, and implement best practices
  • Provide strong Quality leadership in support of business goals and objectives
  • Serve as a change agent in institutionalizing Quality, Lean, and simplification methodologies, to drive effectiveness
  • Leverage the GE Leadership Behaviors, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration and teaming

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
  • Expertise in quality management methods using Six Sigma and Lean methodology.
  • Fluent in English

What will make you stand out

    • Knowledge of GE Gas Power or similar industry Quality programs and procedures
    • Lean certification/working knowledge of Lean
    • Significant experience in quality roles and/or continuous improvement
    • Strong interpersonal, teaming, leadership and engagement skills.
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and explain critical issues
    • Demonstrated capability in leading through influence across a global matrixed organization
    • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and adjust priorities as needed
    • Demonstrated ability to challenge the status-quo and adept at change management
    • Able to simplify complex problems and eliminate ambiguity to enable rapid problem solving

    For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, The base pay range for this position is $94,600 - $157,700 USD Annual.

    The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus.

    *The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
