Our insurance arm draws upon impressive global resources and financial strength to tailor each policy to meet the individual needs of our customers.</p><p></p><p>Purpose of the role is to act as the face of HR in Southern Europe (Spain, Italy) , with internal and external stakeholders, in full alignment with the Everest culture, HR strategy and in strong collaboration with all members of the HR teams around the globe. Incumbent will be pivotal in executing our business strategy in the region. In addition, the role will be at the core of HR activities with regards to our Everest Business Center in Madrid.  </p><p></p><p>The role reports to the regional head of HR and will become a permanent member of the international HR Business partner team</p><p></p><h2>Responsibilities include but not limited to:</h2><ul><li><p>Interact with employees on their day-to-day HR questions and partner with managers to guide them through their teams’ lifecycle to maximize our employee experience</p></li><li><p>Run all core HR processes locally, create guidelines and provide local directions on HR policies and practices in partnership with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and regional HR leadership</p></li><li><p>Ensure alignment of HR activities with local regulations &amp; corp. directions in partnership with Legal and manage employee relations issues</p></li><li><p>Contribute to create and nurture a unique culture where everyone is respected, encouraged to pursue better, lead by example, own their outcomes and win together</p></li><li><p>Strategic business partnership, working closely with the business in a high speed environment and involvement in international and global projects</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications, Education &amp; Experience</b>:</p><ul><li><p>5-10  years of successful local HR experience, including exposure to talent acquisition, talent development, compensation &amp; benefits, performance management and culture development</p></li><li><p>Knowledge and practice of Spanish employment laws, social security and benefits systems</p></li><li><p>Knowledge or exposure to Italian HR matters is of advantage.</p></li><li><p>Experience working in highly international environments and businesses.</p></li><li><p>Fluent in Spanish and English</p></li><li><p>Experienced working with systems (Workday preferably)</p></li><li><p>Experience building, growing and accelerating businesses</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Competencies: </h2><ul><li><p>Can-do attitude, solution- rather than problem-focused</p></li><li><p>Very operational approach, well organized and able to prioritize to get the job done</p></li><li><p>Eagerness to learn, natural curiosity</p></li><li><p>Very good analytical skills, able to process information quickly and lead to data and fact-driven decisions</p></li><li><p>Outstanding team-playing skills</p></li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal skills, able to become a trusted partner for managers &amp; employees</p></li><li><p>Strong sense of values and ethics, good maturity level</p></li><li><p>Able to challenge constructively and to bring perspective</p></li><li><p>Creativity, able to find solutions and alternatives</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>#LI-HYBRID</p><p>#LI-CA1</p><p></p><p>Type:</p>Regular<p></p><p>Time Type:</p>Full time<p></p><p>Primary Location:</p>Madrid, Spain<p></p><p>Additional Locations:</p><p><a href="https://www.everestglobal.com/us-en/about-us/privacy/privacy-security-and-trust/privacy-notices-and-policies/gdpr-privacy-notice" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">GDPR </a><a href="https://www.everestglobal.com/us-en/about-us/privacy/privacy-security-and-trust/privacy-notices-and-policies/gdpr-privacy-notice" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Privacy Notice | Everest (everestglobal.com)</a></p>
