Job Description

Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) is a global business unit focused on ensuring Visa is the best way for businesses to pay and be paid. We help businesses succeed by providing innovative and secure B2B payment solutions. Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients, Multi Nationals and Governments.  We work closely with Issuers, Merchants, FinTechs and other ecosystem players to deliver these services. Visa Commercial Solutions is a growth engine for Visa with enormous potential. 

As a member of the VCS Commercial Operations team this individual will be focused on ensuring VCS runs effectively and efficiently and identifying and executing opportunities where the business unit can improve. The Senior Manager will report to the Director of Business Insights and Operations and work closely with multiple teams in and outside of VCS.

Essential Functions

Examples of responsibilities include:

  • Executive presentation support: Contribute to developing talking points and presentations for Global Head of VCS
  • Data aggregation, synthesis and insights for operating rhythms: Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, earnings calls
  • Ad hoc analysis: Drive analysis and due diligence to provide key business insights for high-priority initiatives (e.g. go-to-market strategies, revenue acceleration opportunities, scenario analyses, competitive intelligence)
  • Organizational alignment: Drive continuous organizational alignment for the business and provide rigor and discipline to run an effective business operating model
  • Business cases: Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop business cases for key revenue generating initiatives
  • Planning: Assist in evaluating global and regional initiatives to increase revenue
  • Knowledge management: Develop and maintain platform where VCS and partner organizations can reference/utilize key presentations and case studies

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• Self-starter who can drive a project forward independently. You are willing to roll up your sleeves, take ownership, and are focused on delivering results
• High levels of learning-agility
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with a keen ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work with incomplete data or seemingly open-ended questions, translating them into actionable analysis
• Natural collaborator, team oriented, diplomatic, and flexible, with demonstrated capacity to function in a matrixed organization that spans multiple geographies.
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and adept at multi-tasking.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong analytical, teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking skills
• Relevant work experience in management consulting, strategy, finance, or operations
• Analytical experience and ability to learn Excel and MS Dynamics
• Experience developing presentations for senior audiences
• Ability to influence successfully in a matrixed and virtual organization

Additional Information

Work Authorization: Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
