Senior Data Analyst

The US team at Airwallex is looking for our first Senior Data Analyst who will play a pivotal role in supporting our key customers with scalable data product solutions and data-driven insights. You will directly contribute to the success of Airwallex’s major customers, and bridge the gap between our customers, commercial and product teams.
This is a hybrid role based out of San Francisco, CA, with 1-2 days per week in our office.

What you will do:

• Work directly with Airwallex’s executives and commercial teams to define business problems and identify customer growth opportunities
• Build a deep understanding of our customers through data-driven approach and communicate key recommendations to help shape a strong bonding relationship between Airwallex and the customers
• Establish metrics framework and build data toolings to monitor customers’ performance
• Perform as a strategic thought leader for the analytics team and cross-functional organizations to inform, influence, support, and execute product strategy and investment decisions

What you will bring:

• At least 5 years of related experience, particularly in Analytics, Consulting, Business planning roles, 
• At least 3 years of experience communicating the results of analyses to leadership teams to influence the strategy
• Strong business acumen
• Experience working with various stakeholders, internal and external 
• Experience in technology, financial services and/or a high growth environment is advantageous
• Expert in data querying languages (e.g. SQL), and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker)
