THE JOB:

As a Host or Hostess at TAP Sportsbar, you’re more than a greeter, you’re the heartbeat of the arrival experience. With every smile, you set the stage, ignite the energy, and open the curtain to the legendary service and luxury that define MGM National Harbor.

THE SCHEDULE:

This role will work full-time with 5 days a week, 2 days off :

Sun: 4:00pm-12:00am / Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-12:00am/ Friday and Saturday Closing shift 6:00pm-2:00am or Opening Shift Saturday and Sunday 10:00am-6:00pm

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Maintain knowledge of scheduled daily activities and in‐house groups, daily house count, table/seat/station numbers, proper table set ups, room capacity, hours of operation, price range and dress code of the restaurant
• Answer phones, keep an accurate count of reservations and handle the reservation book
• Frequently check back with guests who are waiting to be seated; make it evident to guests that they have not been forgotten and that tables are being prepared for them
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas; shut down podium and forward phones to voice‐loop at end of shift

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least 18 years old
• Previous experience working in a food an beverage establishment as a Host would be preferred but not required

Pay Rate

The starting rate for this role is:

$21.00

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
