Senior Project Manager

These initiatives affect processes, systems, and ways of working across multiple areas of the organization. Examples include the implementation of a commercial workflow/CRM system in the client and matter acceptance process, or the rollout of dashboards for core business processes.</p><p></p><p>As a trusted advisor to the Executive Director, you will define project scopes, develop detailed implementation plans, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure measurable outcomes. To deliver integrated, high-impact results, you will work in close alignment with both business and support functions. At the same time, you understand that successful transformation depends not only on structure and results, but also on people. You connect teams, foster collaboration and shared ownership, and are mindful of the behavioral dynamics of change. You combine decisiveness with empathy, helping to shape a positive, inclusive work culture and ensuring that change is both effective and sustainable.</p><p></p><p>In addition to leading projects, the Senior Project Manager holds final responsibility for the Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO supports project execution, develops standards, and facilitates knowledge sharing. You will directly manage two project managers and maintain functional lines with project leads across other departments.</p><p></p><p>This role reports to the Executive Director and involves close collaboration with Business Functions such as IT, Finance, HR, and Commercial &amp; Legal Excellence, as well as with external vendors.</p><p></p><h3><b>Your key responsibilities will include:</b></h3><ul><li><p>Leading end-to-end execution of (complex) strategic projects;</p></li><li><p>Defining project scope, implementation plans, and success criteria; managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables (also as part of annual planning cycles);</p></li><li><p>Actively contributing to and coordinating project execution (“hands-on leadership”);</p></li><li><p>Managing multidisciplinary project teams, including internal experts and external vendors;</p></li><li><p>Facilitating engagement and trust within teams to increase adoption and ownership of change;</p></li><li><p>Building a centralized knowledge base of project management standards and workflows;</p></li><li><p>Increasing adoption of new solutions through stakeholder engagement, communication, and training;</p></li><li><p>Acting as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders;</p></li><li><p>Leading the PMO, ensuring governance, methodology, and knowledge sharing;</p></li><li><p>Monitoring project performance, impact, and ROI; reporting to senior stakeholders;</p></li><li><p>Developing and maintaining standards, templates, and best practices for project execution;</p></li><li><p>Coaching and supporting project team members and colleagues in project management roles.</p></li></ul><p></p><h3><b>What do you bring?</b></h3><p>You are a results-driven leader with excellent project management skills, strategic insight, and a hands-on mindset. You know how to successfully deliver complex, multidisciplinary projects and are a natural coach for your colleagues.</p><p>You also bring:</p><ul><li><p>At least 7–10 years of experience in project management and digital transformation, preferably in professional services or within an international organization;</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in establishing and professionalizing project management standards and frameworks;</p></li><li><p>A strong track record of leading complex IT/system implementations (e.g., ERP or CRM);</p></li><li><p>Leadership experience, including coaching project managers and providing functional team direction;</p></li><li><p>Technical affinity with areas such as IT systems, automation, or AI;</p></li><li><p>Experience in stakeholder management, change communication, and driving adoption;</p></li><li><p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills;</p></li><li><p>Fluency in English (written and spoken); Dutch and/or French is a plus;</p></li><li><p>A completed higher professional (HBO) or academic (WO) degree;</p></li><li><p>Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2).</p></li></ul><p></p><h3><b>What do we offer?</b></h3><p>We offer a role in which you will directly contribute to the strategic development of our firm.
