A new role can expand your knowledge and your network, and help you learn more about our business. If you think this opportunity is a fit for your career you should apply. If you are not sure you can have a conversation with your manager.

We’re in the business of helping people achieve amazing things by protecting the things that matter most. And you can help us when you join our team of underwriters. Here, you’ll be putting your creative insights to work with other underwriters and leaders, having a seat at the table with key decision makers. And you’ll have any number of opportunities for your career to grow in whatever direction you choose.

The Hartford’s Integrated Casualty team provides General Liability and Environmental Liability coverages, along with Umbrella/Excess, to both non-environmentally-driven risks (e.g., metal goods/parts/machinery and plastics/rubber goods/leather/glass manufacturing and distribution) as well as environmentally-driven operations (e.g., chemical manufacturing/blending/distribution, tank manufacturing, emissions control equipment, sensors, and gauges). Our distribution channel is through both retail and wholesale agents. This position plays a critical role in supporting underwriting operations across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions, leveraging your expertise to deliver customized solutions and contribute to the strategic growth of a high-impact market.
