General Management Consultant, Lead

The Opportunity:

To grow effectively, organizations need help looking at their operation from the outside. Whether standing up a new organization, transforming an existing one, or transitioning an organization, including merger or split-up, our clients need a change management consultant who will take the time to learn the complexities of their mission and provide them with tangible advice on business process improvements, mission success, and standard methodologies.

That’s why we need you, a lead management consultant who knows how to analyze every aspect of your customer’s operations and use your expertise to guide efforts at giving them the roadmap to becoming the organization they envision.

As a lead general management consultant on our team, you’ll oversee the development of an overall picture of your client’s current structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before. You’ll lead discussions and workshops with stakeholders and product owners that will help your team identify the elements that work best in their environment and the areas for improvement. Once you have a thorough understanding of where and how the organization can improve, you will advise leadership on a path forward.

You Have:

• Experience with building and growing business via client relationships, business development, and marketing
• Ability to mentor and lead junior staff
• Ability to independently lead contracts, working as a direct point of contact for clients
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience leading teams, managing a portfolio of projects, or performing in a management-level role

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in consulting, including for the federal government
• Experience in a public health environment
• Knowledge of basic financial management
• Knowledge of Agile development practices
• Ability to support day-to-day delivery while guiding a team in the execution
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
• Master's degree
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
