Position Overview:
As part of the talented Operations team, you will set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures

Essential Functions:
- Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints
- Measuring and marking out placement for components
- Setting up metalwork machinery including cold saw, drill presses, band saw, notcher, belt sander, tape measure and/or calipers
- Double-checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work
- Fabricating and constructing metal components
- Grinding and finishing completed products
- Performing quality checks on completed products
- Conforming with state and company safety regulations
- Completing daily logs
- All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- At least one-year of experience as a Metal Fabricator or manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
- Ability to follow all training procedures in place
- Ability to perform basic math skills (adding, subtracting, fractions, and decimals)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
- Proficiency with metal fabrication tools, including cold saw, tape measure, band saw, general power tools and drill presses
- Good understanding of quality control principles
- Good communication skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
