<p>We are looking for a Regulatory Senior Scientist for our Regulatory team located in Naas.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>As member of a very busy team of 2 people, the person will ensure all our BtoB and BtoC labels across all Europe & UK sites, are compliant to relevant Regulations, design loftware labels templates and support sites/business with any labels queries. </p>
<p>The successful candidate will be responsible to assess and assign tariff codes for our finished products and raw materials. This individual will have experience working and interpreting food labelling and tariff legislation. Knowledge of packaging legislation would also be a distinct advantage.</p>

<p>Previous experience as a SME though Leader and participation at trade associations in their respective area of subject matter expertise would also be advantageous.</p>

<p>The role is based in Naas with possibility of hybrid working.</p>
<h2>What will I be doing?</h2>
<ul>
<li>Reviewing and approval of Food product labelling BtoB or BtoC.</li>
<li>Creating label templates design on Loftware.</li>
<li>Active participation and representation of Kerry at relevant trade associations</li>
<li>Assigning and assessing Tariffs codes for raw materials and finished products.</li>
<li>Advise on regulatory trends and issues impacting the industry and the Kerry business.</li>
<li>Develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders/customers.</li>
<li>Management of projects related to implementation of regulation updates</li>
<li>Liaise closely with other internal departments.</li>
<li>Remain aware of all health and safety issues relevant to the job.</li>
<li>Contributing to overall department Key Performance Indicators.</li>
<li>Remain fully flexible to meet business requirement.</li>

<h2>What do I need to be successful?</h2>

<p><u>These include:</u></p>
<ul>
<li>Degree in food science, chemistry, or related discipline</li>
<li>Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Experience in SAP and Optiva systems an advantage</li>
<li>Knowledge of food legislation in one or more of the following areas: labelling, tariffs, packaging</li>
<li>Fluency in English with fluency in a Language other than English would be an advantage</li>
<li>Able to work accurately and quickly in a fast moving environment</li>
<li>Able to work on your own initiative and pay attention to detail</li>
<li>Good organizational skills and excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team</li>
