About the role
As a Senior Research Executive, you will provide support in the design, management and execution of a variety of secondary research projects (media measurement, influencers identification, risks assessment, landscape analysis, trends analysis, etc.). This role will give you the opportunity to work on a variety of projects under the direction of an Account Manager, yet will also allow you to take the lead on smaller ad-hoc assignments. This is an opportunity to work within a communications agency and expand your knowledge of how communications are brought to life and activated. At the same time, your projects will focus on larger issues impacting the environment our clients work in, whether this is understanding the impact of government legislation, tracking opinions and trends or segmenting the digital population. You will be part of an engaging, fast-paced environment, working with a dynamic and international team.
<h3>Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Supporting in the overall design and execution of secondary research projects, including but not limited to:</li> -Exploratory desk research -Designing Boolean searches/taxonomies -Data quality check -Data coding -Ongoing monitoring and reporting<li>Carrying out thorough and pertinent data analysis</li><li>Drafting presentations, using visual storytelling </li><li>Supporting in proposal writing </li><li>Project management and supplier relationship management </li><li>Effective communication with clients, and internal and external stakeholders </li></ul>
<h3>Candidate Expectations:</h3>
<ul>
<li>College or university degree in business, communications, social or political science, statistics, mathematics, economics, etc., or equivalent work experience in a similar role. </li><li>Previous experience in research (in an agency/research institute or in-house/client-side, etc.) </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Strong numeracy and analytical skills </li><li>Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) </li><li>High level of organisational and time management skills </li><li>High degree of accuracy and attention to detail </li><li>An outgoing, ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to take responsibility for a variety of tasks </li><li>A ‘team player’ who is willing to help colleagues whenever necessary </li><li>Desire to learn, and a proactive attitude to doing so </li><li>Curiosity about what makes people think and act the way they do </li><li>Enjoys working in a dynamic & fast-paced environment </li><li>International research experience is a distinct advantage </li><li>Experience within a brand, public relations or consumer marketing insights agency is an advantage </li><li>Fluency in English is a must, fluency in other languages is an advantage </li></ul>#LI-RT9<br/>Edelman Data & Intelligence (DXI) is a global, multidisciplinary research, analytics and data consultancy with a distinctly human mission.<br/>We use data and intelligence to help businesses and organizations build trusting relationships with people: making communications more authentic, engagement more exciting and connections more meaningful.<br/>DXI brings together and integrates the necessary people-based PR, communications, social, research and exogenous data, as well as the technology infrastructure to create, collect, store and manage first-party data and identity resolution.
