Summary
The Government Client Executive drives revenue growth and expands C1 Gov’s market presence in the areas of Unified Communications, Customer Experience and Enterprise Networking. This position is required to meet/exceed assigned sales quotas/targets at all times while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations as well as company/customers’ policies.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
- Sales Strategy and Planning: Collaborates with the sales team and management to develop comprehensive sales strategies, identify potential customers, and create actionable plans to achieve sales targets
- Product Expertise: Effectively communicates value propositions to potential customers regarding Unified Communications, Customer Experience and Enterprise Networking solutions
- Consultative Selling: Engages with prospective clients to understand their unique business needs and challenges. Utilizes this understanding to recommend tailored solutions that align with their requirements and drive customer satisfaction
- Relationship Building: Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with existing clients, as well as establish new connections, building a robust network to drive business growth
- Technical Presentations and Demos: Conducts persuasive product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our Unified Communications, Customer Experience, and Enterprise Networking solutions to potential clients
- Solution Proposals: Prepares and delivers comprehensive proposals and quotes that outline the technical aspects, pricing, and timeline of proposed solutions, addressing client-specific needs and ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manages and prioritizes sales opportunities in the pipeline, keeping accurate records and updates in the CRM system to track progress and forecast sales
- Market Analysis: Stays abreast of market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the sales process
- Customer Support Collaboration: Works closely with technical support and implementation teams to ensure seamless handoff and successful deployment of solutions, providing a positive customer experience
- Achieving Sales Targets: Consistently meets and exceeds assigned sales quotas and revenue targets, driving the growth and success of the company's business
Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains a good understanding of government contract vehicles and possesses an understanding of how to transact business with government customers, including knowledge of and compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Understanding of the information technology industry and its evolving trends
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in technical sales, with a focus on Unified Communications, Customer Experience, and Enterprise Networking solutions
Experience with Public Sector sales
