ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations Program Management (OPM) to lead and oversee the execution of strategic operations programs and initiatives. This role is critical in driving operational efficiency, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, timeline, and budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of executing complex programs, preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role will also involve significant travel to Asia (25%-50%) to ensure global coordination and execution.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Develop and implement strategic operations programs that align with Peloton's goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Operations Program Management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define program priorities, goals, and success metrics.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple operations programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop detailed program plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor program progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Work closely with various departments, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Go-to-Market teams, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), to ensure seamless execution of programs.
  • Own and manage the PFEP (Plan for Every Part) process to ensure optimized inventory management and material flow.
  • Develop and maintain detailed plans for every part, including forecasting, inventory levels, and logistics.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams to drive program success.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on program status and performance.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operations programs.
  • Conduct regular program reviews and provide detailed reports to senior leadership on program status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program performance and operational efficiency.
  • Manage program budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Oversee the allocation of personnel and other resources to programs, balancing workload and capacity.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team of program managers, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
  • Own the sustaining process as part of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • Ensure ongoing support and improvement of products post-launch, addressing any operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to incorporate feedback and drive enhancements throughout the product lifecycle.

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex programs within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in program management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
