Job Description

As a Security Officer - Front Desk - Full Time in Hialeah, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in helping to create a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors, employees, and contractors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, managing visitor logs, and responding to security-related incidents or inquiries with professionalism and care. You will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner at the front desk of an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access control systems and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry into the facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of visitor and contractor activity as required by site protocols.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with site personnel, management, and emergency responders as needed.
• Support security-related procedures and protocols specific to aerospace and defense environments, including following confidentiality and access guidelines.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting with directions or information requests related to the facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
