Job Summary:

We are seeking a California-licensed physician to serve as a Collaborating Physician for a licensed Physician Assistant (PA). 

This position is ideal for a physician seeking flexible, remote, low-time-commitment oversight work while maintaining an important role in supporting clinical practice.

The physician will enter into a Collaborative Practice Agreement (CPA) in accordance with California law, review clinical protocols, and be available for consultations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the supervising/collaborating physician for a licensed PA practicing in California.
• Maintain a valid Collaborative Practice Agreement as required by the California Medical Board and all applicable regulations.
• Review and approve PA scope of services and practice protocols.
• Be available for periodic case consultations, review of complex or borderline cases, and compliance discussions.
• Review a sample of patient charts monthly
• Remain up to date on California scope-of-practice laws and collaborate on any required updates to procedures.
• Communicate professionally and responsively with the PA and administrative staff.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO, currently licensed and in good standing to practice medicine in California.
• Minimum of 2 years post-residency clinical experience (preferred).
• No history of disciplinary actions or license restrictions.
• Familiarity with telemedicine workflows and collaborative care models is a plus.
• Comfortable using basic digital tools (email, e-signature platforms, document review, etc.)

Compensation: 

Fixed $3,000 monthly.
