Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

MACHINE OPERATOR: 3RD SHIFT
STERLING HEIGHTS, MI

 

Lear Sterling Heights is an injection molding facility. As a member of the operations team, the machine operator will be responsible for maintaining, operating, and checking of product quality.

 

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• Remove product from machine and inspect to operator instructions
• Identify short shots, flash, contamination, etc...
• Operate assembly fixtures
• Pack and label product containers or bins
• Rework and trim parts
• Record of non-conforming parts
• Use grinders and weight scales 

 

Your Qualifications:

• Adequate vision to detect non-conforming material
• Exhibit strong organizational and housekeeping skills 
• Able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs
