Manager, Sales Operations and Demand Planning

The Manager of Sales Operations and Demand Planning is responsible for leading the forecasting process, prioritizing customer fulfilment demands, and reporting on a consistent basis performance to plan. This individual will work closely with Program Managers, Sales, Finance, Business Process, and Supply Chain teams to gather and analyze data, develop demand forecasts, and create plans to ensure that products are available to meet customer demand. This position will lead the analysis of OTD and the flow of material through the system to remove bottlenecks and improve performance. This role will manage the Customer Fulfillment group under the Customer & Program Management Office, reporting to the Director, Customer Fulfillment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage senior leaders in consensus demand plan, forecast metrics, and the S&OP process
- Lead the monthly Sales Operations & Planning cycling; this includes the ultimate presentation as well as the processes that ensure monthly data integrity
- Lead weekly Program Management meetings for monthly, quarterly and annual Sales Forecast accuracy
- Lead weekly Program Management meetings for Gross Contribution review and adherence
- Lead Quarterly Meetings with Finance and Regional Directors to review Program Value and update accordingly
- Develop business processes and documentation to enhance and sustain operational performance surrounding the Sales Forecast and meeting the monthly revenue plan
- Improve the reporting and analytics of the demand planning organization. Provide insights to the broader organization, including Operations, on expedite demands and supply flows that impact workflow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends and patterns in demand and fulfillment
- Develop and implement strategies to improve demand forecasting accuracy
- Understand inventory levels and working with supply and inventory planning teams to ensure that products are available to meet customer demand
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance demand planning operations and the S&OP process
- Coach and lead the Customer Fulfillment group to ensure order-to-cash process and customer service needs
- Lead the Program analysis group to ensure collaboration with Supply Chain, provide Program reporting, and ensure data integrity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 5+ years of experience working in a similar role
- 3+ years of experience working in a Management role
- 3-5 years of experience in a demand planning/forecasting role
- Basic knowledge of budgetary process
- Strong understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $90,000 to 120,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
