Are you the enterprising and commercially driven outside sales representative with a passion for transport and logistics? Are you a real 'hunter' with a high favor factor who brings in customers for DSV?

As a outside sales representative you can be found on the road, in the North-West Netherlands region (including provinces such as North Holland, Utrecht). You are on your way to the customer and actively selling the total package that DSV Air & Sea has to offer. In other words, sea freight, air freight and Xpress, but also our value-added services, for example. And that in the provinces around the Rozenburg location; you'll be working on it.

 

How do you do this? You are responsible for maintaining and optimizing the cooperation with your new customers in your own region, where you speak the language of your customers. That has an advantage, just like your previous work experience in an outdoor service sales position at other logistics service providers. Your knowledge/experience with air and/or sea freight is important to talk to your customers on a professional level. On a daily basis you are actively approaching potential accounts in your region and you work closely with your colleagues in Rozenburg. To grow together. You get this done by:

 

• offering tailor-made solutions to new accounts based on account plans with operational managers;
• building and maintaining a network (internal and external);
• offering and following up on offers to potential customers;
• ensuring adequate management information of the market (position) in order to test the account plan.

 

Your team stands out within DSV because of your ability to bring out the best in each other. Your place of work is our location in Rozenburg, where you work together with the operational managers and branch manager. And of course also interaction with the other colleagues. Because personal contact is important!

You bring

• at least 2 years of experience in a commercial position (inside or outside sales) in the logistics sector;
• up-to-date knowledge/experience of air or sea freight, Incoterms and international logistics;
• good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
• preferably living in the region Noord-Holland / Utrecht.
