Job Description:

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

RBS Platform Engineer: Participates in the planning, design, installation, engineering, testing validation, integration, packaging, and documentation of new IT solutions and capabilities within the RBS platform environment. Assists in the operation and maintenance of all RBS server, storage, and network infrastructure, including the timely application of approved cybersecurity patches, software, and software updates as required. Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies applications, databases, and/or data warehouses in the RBS environment. Responsible for engineering and deployment of the Rogue Blue SWF platform layer (Kubernetes container layer, infrastructure-as-code, DevSecOps Platform tools - 25+) across 3 classification levels

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience
● Required Certifications: Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC
● Security Clearance Level: Must be willing to Obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility

● Preferred Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation: Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer; or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer; AWS Certified Developer Associate; or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate; or Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate; or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert; or Microsoft Certified Azure DevOps Engineer Expert; or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD); or Linux Foundation Certified Engineer.

The likely salary range for this position is $144,410 - $195,378. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
