The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Product Development Center (PDC) located in Wauwatosa, WI is home to the mantra – You dream it. We build it. Join our team as a  Sr. Business Process Analyst- Jira & Power BI (Hybrid).

Job Summary

The Sr. Business Process Analyst leads the management and analysis of program data to enable informed, data-driven decision-making. Partner with Program Managers and project team to drive clarity and common understanding of program health and build readiness. 

Job Responsibilities

WHAT You Do (key outputs you’re personally accountable for to ensure program success):

  • Tools:  Focused primarily on Power BI & Jira as well as Teams/SharePoint.
    • Jira: Admin role experience preferred. Experience creating Filters with JQL and  Basic, Dashboard Gadget Experience and Knowledge of backend Workflow creation and impact. 
    • Power BI: Knowledge and experience in the tool leveraging data sets outside of the tool and merging relevant data together to support information and report out needs.
    • Teams/SharePoint: Experience using the tool primarily for communication and file sharing.
  • Metrics & Data: Transform available data into automatic report-outs that monitor critical metrics identified by the operating model team that highlight the progress of key deliverables, generating early insights, and reflecting overall program health and build readiness.

HOW You Work (additional ways you influence the program and the company):

  • Program Culture: Consistently center the team on what is most important and WHY. Mitigate dysfunction and waste by continually refining program operations to ensure efficient and effective execution (e.g., process, tools, communications). Clarify who is responsible for deliverables and timing. Empower individuals and get decisions made at the lowest level practical and ensure all stakeholders at all levels embrace their primary role.
  • Engagement: Build critical cross-functional support and alliances to drive engagement and energy. Amid the chaos, lead by example, provide stable ground, drive progress, and celebrate wins!
  • Help Chain: Ensure every team member has the knowledge, tools, and direction to be successful via program onboarding, training, etc. Identify and fill gaps by connecting individuals with relevant experts for help.
     

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Education Specifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related area. 

Experience Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of related experience. In addition, they will have demonstrated the following: 
  • Ability to manage, track, and communicate technical information in a clear, concise, and understandable manner to a broad group of stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in successfully leading complex projects with proficiency in the use of program management methodologies and tools to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Creative approach to assessing project management best practices and inspiring others to continuously improve processes and how we work.
  • Success coordinating teams of internal stakeholders to drive organizational change.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional team members without direct authority.
  • Proficient in Jira, Power BI, and Teams.
