The Position:

The Yard Manager will assist and support the Field Crews, Mechanics, Truck Drivers, and other Management. The position performs routine daily activities related to the overall organization or the company yard and day-to-day support of ongoing crew operations. The Yard Manager must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have a strong communication and organization skills.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Yard Manager
  • Clean and maintain yard area and equipment
  • Operate equipment to stack, load and retrieve supplies and materials
  • Document and maintain inventory
  • Exercise good judgment regarding unloading and operation
  • Work closely with the field crews and managers
  • Other tasks as needed
  • Yard safety

Required skills:


  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate problem solving skills, mechanical aptitude, good work habits, and self-motivation.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking while maintaining a high level of organization.
  • Ability to perform well as a team.
  • Knowledge of commonly used industry concepts, practices, and procedures preferred.
