Starting Wage: $23/hour
Schedule: Saturdays-10 AM to 5 PM & Tuesdays 5 PM to 9 PM (
Location: Gresham, Oregon
Client Bio:This member is a bright and artistic young person who loves creative activities like painting, puzzles, and helping around the house. They sometimes struggle with social cues and can feel lonely, so they need a caregiver who can offer patience, encouragement, and step-by-step guidance with visual cues. The family is looking for someone kind and supportive who can help build confidence, strengthen social skills, and create positive connections in the community.

As a Caregiver with KIDS NW, your day might include a little bit of everything—and a whole lot of heart. Your role is hands-on, personal, and full of opportunities to make lasting connections. Here’s what you’ll be up to:

All Things ADL – Supporting daily living needs like personal hygiene, dressing, mealtime, restroom assistance, mobility, and more. Dignity and respect are always top priority.

Adventures & Outings – From a walk in the park to a community event or ice cream run, you’ll help plan and participate in activities that keep our members engaged and connected.

Life Skills & Confidence Building – Be a coach and cheerleader! You’ll help members strengthen social skills, build independence, and take pride in their progress—big or small.

Personalized Care in Action – Follow and implement care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, and abilities.

Daily Check-Ins & Progress Tracking – Notice important changes, celebrate wins, and document progress, health updates, and behaviors so our team can provide the best support possible.

🌟Here’s what our ideal teammate brings to the table:

Own a smartphone or mobile device (required for clocking in/out and staying connected).

18 years of age or older

CPR & First Aid Certified – Already certified or willing to complete at hire (employee covers cost—we’ll guide you).

At least 1 year in care roles such as caregiver, teacher’s aide, behavior support staff, or similar hands-on work.
