Xcelerate Solutions is seeking an Associate Field Operations Manager (DFOM) is the assist the Field Operations Manager (FOM) in managing all aspects of Xcelerate Solution’s investigative field operations in support of the personnel security operations of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.  In this role, the DFOM will be responsible for providing oversight to field investigative resources to drive contract performance and ensure investigative requirements are being met.  The DFOM will monitor the pendency of investigative assignments, evaluate individual investigative performance and make performance recommendations to FOM.  While serving as a subject matter expert, the DFOM will provide feedback to field staff as well as provide operational analysis to assist FOM in shaping future operational strategies to improve performance. Responsibilities:

• Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.
• Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product.
• Creates and disseminates operational dashboards to staff in order to track workflow and identify customer priorities.
• Monitor the overall performance of the full time and contractor staff within Field Operations Department
• Monitor the assigned work in progress with the Field Investigators and Case Assigners
• Assist the Assigner’s in getting work assigned out to include local and TDY assignments
• Provide subject matter expert knowledge on all case knowledge questions by both the Field Investigator and Case Analyst
• Maintain investigative credentials in order to perform high priority fieldwork.
• Maintain all up-to-date policy and procedural documents to include the leads list, SOP report writing, Facility and Database access
• Assist all departments (IO, Training, Review, Case Notes) in make sure all Investigators are in compliance with company and contract requirements

Requirements:

• Active Top-Secret clearance
• Open to completing an approved NTS Background Investigator course, if this requirement hasn't already been met
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Ability to conduct interviews virtually at home
• 5 years of specialized Federal background investigative experience within the least five (5) years and OHS-Specific. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
