Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Supply Curation is a strategic leader within FreeWheel’s Global Programmatic Operations organization. Responsible for overseeing the Supply Curation team while driving the programmatic Pre Sales strategy for FreeWheel Demand Teams. This role leads a team focused on bundling and classifying inventory into scalable, high quality packages and start to finish RFPs success across the FreeWheel Marketplace through deep understanding of SSP integrations, supply -path dynamics, inventory taxonomies and demand needs.

The Senior Manager acts as a cross-functional partner across Agency/DSP Demand teams, Sales Marketing, Product and Data partnership teams ensuring Sales is equipped with the tools, insights, and offerings to maximize marketplace revenue and performance. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in CTV programmatic dynamics, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to translate complex technical needs into actionable strategy.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team, providing coaching, support, and performance feedback.
  • Establish clear team goals, KPIs, and operational processes to ensure consistent execution and high-quality demand support.
  • Oversee team workload, prioritization, and resource management to ensure coverage and alignment with business goals.
  • Build and refine operational frameworks, best practices, documentation, and enablement materials for the Supply Curation function.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI tools into forecasting, packaging, pricing, and RFP workflows.
  • Build and maintain curated inventory packages aligned to verticals, performance goals, brand‑safety tiers, and audience needs.
  • Monitor supply health, including fill rates, win rates, bid density, and discrepancies that may impact package performance.
  • Lead regular audits of curated packages to ensure accuracy, freshness, and alignment with platform policies and client expectations.
  • Define and enforce taxonomy standards for supply bundles, including naming conventions, metadata requirements, and eligibility rules.
  • Advocate for workflow and tooling improvements, automation opportunities, and data enhancements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Own the supply component of RFP responses, including site lists, inventory scale estimates, and bid strategy recommendations.
  • Develop repeatable frameworks for forecasting supply availability and pricing guidance across verticals and formats.
  • Partner with Senior Agency/DSP Relationship leads to align on sales strategy, marketplace opportunities, and key areas of improvement for each parter.
  • Partner with Supply Operations, SSP partners, and product teams to ensure inventory availability, quality, and consistency across all curated packages.
  • Partner closely with Comcast to identify unique targeting capabilities, supply opportunities, and differentiated inventory strategies that strengthen competitive positioning and drive incremental revenue.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Marketing and Demand Activation team to drive adoption of new programmatic inventory packages, ensuring sales teams clearly understand value propositions and usage.
  • Participate in strategic planning forums, roadmap discussions, and cross-functional working groups to advocate for sales enhancements.
  • Serve as the subject‑matter expert for curated supply in client meetings, pitches, and strategic discussions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5–7+ years of experience in programmatic operations, inventory management, or ad tech account leadership (CTV/digital video experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience managing or leading teams, including coaching, strategic direction, and performance management.
  • Deep knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem, including SSPs, DSPs, deal structure (PMP, PG, Curated makertplace).
  • Demonstrated expertise in the CTV supply landscape, including marketplace dynamics, supply fragmentation, publisher monetization strategies, and platform‑level nuances.
  • Experience working with domain lists, app bundles, log‑level data, and inventory taxonomies.
  • Strong track record of managing strategic or programmatic partner relationships with measurable business impact.
