Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance (plumbing, heating, and electrical)
• Repair fixtures and equipment
• Install appliances and equipment
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems issues
• Demonstrate safe work practices under hazardous conditions
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Successful completion of background check required
• Minimum 5 years of handyman or maintenance experience
• Building construction experience is a plus
• Experience using hand or power tools
• Basic plumbing, heating, electrical, and HVAC knowledge
• Hydraulic systems and air compressor systems knowledge
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.

 Physical Demands & Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands and is required to talk and hear.  The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk occasionally for long periods at a time. The employee may occasionally be required to reach with hands, and arms and move objects up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.  In addition, abilities for assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned are required.  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
