SUMMARY:
Andersen is seeking a Logistics Supervisor (internally known as an Operations Supervisor) at our Consolidation Center in Menomonie, WI. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading our team in safety, quality, delivery, cost, as well as fostering employee engagement. The successful candidate will act as a Servant Leader to enable our warehouse associates to accomplish our goals along with promoting a respectful workplace.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the development of efficient and effective processes to enable our team to ship customer orders on-time and complete, safely.
- Deliver effective communications to our team so that they have clear direction to carry out our daily work plan.
- Define, communicate, and hold team accountable for our performance targets based on our AMS 2.0 strategy to enable Continuous Improvement.
- Establish and maintain and environment conducive to high levels of engagement, morale, employee satisfaction based on our values.
- Provide coaching on performance and approach, information, ideas, feedback, and encouragement to employees.
- Promote safety-first approach to executing the work while teaching all to do the same with an emphasis on the customer and quality.
- Work to develop our team into future leaders.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Four year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 2 years of Center Lead experience.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of world-class Lean and quality initiatives.
