The Opportunity:
This position is based at our Cologne location in the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics GmbH Division.
Role Description:
As a Marketing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement successful marketing strategies and tactics, leveraging a deep understanding of the local market and product offerings. You will also contribute to regional planning and value creation processes to achieve short- and mid-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics.
- Contribute to regional planning and value creation processes.
- Understand and extract customer value.
- Balance strategic and tactical focus.
- Interpret and communicate complex technical information, including clinical concepts, statistics, and outcomes.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in the diagnostics arena or other healthcare areas. Knowledge in Infectious Diseases is an asset.
- Strong focus on understanding and extracting customer value.
- Balanced mix of strategic and tactical focus.
- High comfort level with interpreting and communicating complex technical information.
- Positive mindset and collaborative attitude.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time (nationally and internationally).
- Customer engagement and in-field support, 30% of the time.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
